Mostly because I thought, "what better room to paint than the one that has a dart board, a pool table, a big plant, and a drum set in it?" I greatly expanded-through the full room--the previously existing "racing stripe" for the front room. Even using primer like a responsible adult, it took several coats. At least I got to use the pool table to stand on for parts.
