Being able to open a window doesn't seem like such a luxury until you find yourself in a situation where you've caulked the windows shut since they are so pervious to the wind. Pervious isn't actually a word, but you'd think that it would be a good nominee for the opposite of impervious, no?
In any case, the new window is in, and open-able...
